Trade account terms

Trade accounts are for businesses that make, sell or design jewellery: manufacturing jewellers, retailers and designer-makers, including sole traders.

To check that, we ask for your CIPC registration number or a website or Instagram account that shows your work. Either is enough.

We review every application, and we may decline one, or close an account later, at our discretion.

Trade prices are shown only to approved accounts, in the trade portal. Please keep them to yourself: don't publish them or pass them on.

There's no minimum order. Buy one stone or a hundred.

The prices on moissanite.co.za are our recommended retail prices for SOLA™ stones. We ask trade accounts to respect them when advertising or selling SOLA™ stones loose, so the stones keep a consistent price in the market.

This is a recommendation, not a requirement. You set your own prices, and how you price finished jewellery is entirely up to you.

Pay online when you order, by card or Instant EFT, or take an invoice and pay it online or by bank EFT. Orders are paid in full before they're dispatched. Once an account has a track record with us, we're happy to talk about other terms.

The portal shows how soon each size ships: stones we hold go out the same or next working day; other sizes in the range are ordered in and ship in about two weeks; sizes outside the range are quoted on request.

Delivery within South Africa is by tracked courier: free on orders of R1,500 or more, and R150 on smaller orders.

An account with no orders for 12 months may be closed. You're welcome to apply again.
